Why are we asking this? ▾ To keep fuel cards completely free for our members, it's important that they're used regularly enough to remain viable. This is because our partners at The Fuel Store cover the cost of producing, registering and issuing each card, so we need to ensure that cards go to members who will genuinely benefit from them. If you spend £40 a week or more on fuel you'll really notice the saving and you'll want to keep using your card.

The fuel card is provided and managed by our Trusted Partners at The Fuel Store Ltd. In order for them to be able to provide you with your card, we have to transfer your data to The Fuel Store Ltd. Please be assured of three things: (1) the data transfer from us to The Fuel Store will be done securely via a heavily encrypted direct-to-database data link; (2) we will never share your data with anyone else in any other way; and (3) The Fuel Store Ltd. will never share your data with anyone else either and will store it very securely.

Your fuel card is free of charge to you - but please be aware that there is a cost to produce, register and post your card that is paid for by our fuel card providers at The Fuel Store Ltd. So it is important for us to avoid wasted cards that never get used and to make sure that all our cardholders really value it and use it as a way of saving money.

Therefore please note that if you do not put any money on your fuel card and do not use your card to buy fuel in a period of 6 months The Fuel Store Ltd will require you to pay the sum of £10 to cover the cost of creating the card for you.
